Explores the potential of computer-integrated design software; develops techniques for critical analysis of architectural precedents; expands the ability to visualize options; to expand perception; and teaches the basics of computer-integrated design.

This course introduces a variety of digital design platforms and representation skills through a series of architectural animation exercises—each defined by the progressively increasing geometric complexity. Each workshop will follow a theme and technique. By the end of the course, students will have the ability to represent higher dimension formal processes that might be easy to narrate, but difficult to visualize; a moving subject, from a multitude of viewpoints, from a multitude of moments in time, married into a three-dimensional model.
